MEMBERSHIP GROWTH

A New Approach

In early 2019, General Manager Jim Story brought a plan to the Membership Committee and the Board to turn around PCC’s trend of declining membership by improving new member recruitment and member experience. The plan included engaging Capstone Hospitality, a professional private club sales consultant, to drive recruitment.

CAPSTONE HOSPITALITY

The results of are undeniable. In the fifteen months from April 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020 we have welcomed 122 new members compared with 58 resignations. The average age of our membership has decreased as younger members join. Our membership director, Chad Sipka has an expanding and consistent pipeline of potential new members and we can, with continued hard work and focus, expect continued recruiting success and reduced attrition.

PATHWAY TO 600

In April of 2019, PCC began moving purposefully toward a goal of growing membership from 470 to 600 by October 1, 2022 targeting the  growth of an average of slightly more than 3 net new members per month over the 42-month term of our recruiting services agreement with Capstone Hospitality.

MEMBERSHIP SUPPORT

While we navigate this ever-changing pandemic, it is great to see increased member usage of our core offerings. Many members have expressed appreciation for these day to day opportunities to enjoy outdoor sports, dining, and relaxing time with family and friends. Through May, Golf Rounds are up by 3,232 while dining has exceeded the previous year by 29%. Our tennis courts and pool facilities remain very active centers for family fun. All great trends for a positive future.
